From the success of the Quang Nam Cultural Days 2023 program, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province decided to upgrade the scale to become the Quang Nam Festival in Ho Chi Minh City.
This activity is jointly organized by the Provincial People's Committee and the Quang Nam Association in Ho Chi Minh City.
Coming to the festival, people will enjoy special art programs, taking place from afternoon to evening including: Quang Nam folk song program, Tra My gong performance, Hoi An folk song singing...
It is expected that 150 artisans and artists from art troupes of Quang Nam will come to Ho Chi Minh City to perform, many of whom are Co Tu ethnic people.
The gong performance of the gong art troupe of Nam Tra My and Bac Tra My ethnic groups is different from other localities because it has a unique gong fighting part.

Mr. Mai Phuc - Chairman of the Quang Nam Association in Ho Chi Minh City - informed that this year's festival will also introduce many specialties of Quang Nam province such as: Hoi An chicken rice, Phu Chiem Quang noodles, Que Son cassava pho, xu xoa... and many dishes that remind people of their childhood far from home.
The Quang Nam compatriot festival in Ho Chi Minh City will take place from July 18 to 21 at the Tan Binh District Cultural and Sports Center (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City).
Mr. Nguyen Hong Lai - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Nam - said that this festival will be held annually, creating opportunities for Quang Nam people in Ho Chi Minh City to meet, exchange and enjoy hometown dishes.
Within the framework of the Quang Nam Compatriots Festival in Ho Chi Minh City 2024 , there will be many activities to promote investment and tourism in Quang Nam.
Especially the activity of supporting Quang Nam compatriots in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern provinces to issue and exchange driver's licenses and citizen identification cards with simplified procedures, made and received within the day.
