On February 22, an article about a "diamond big sister having her assets frozen" was posted in a group specializing in showbiz and attracted many speculative comments.
Ly Nha Ky then re-shared the above article on her personal page and said that she "didn't spend time reading social media to know that out there is so much exploitation of false information about her."
Ly Nha Ky affirmed that she will take action if false information continues to spread.
In response to many rumors from the online community, Ly Nha Ky responded to Tri Thuc - Znews: “I am ready to seek legal help. I have recently shared all the fabricated information on the official page. I am determined to deal with rumors that defame and cause confusion. Whether or not you say my name directly, there is still a way to handle it because identifying features can be documented. Depending on the level of false information and the impact, the company's legal department will take the next steps.”
She added: “The spread of fake news causes serious consequences, such as manipulating public opinion, causing anxiety, fear, defamation, insult... I believe the law will have strict sanctions for this case.”
This is not the first time Ly Nha Ky has been caught up in such rumors. In 2018, social media and some entertainment fan pages spread information that Ly Nha Ky was detained. At that time, the actress and the tycoon confirmed that this rumor was not true.
