Vietnamese stars gather to congratulate HTV

In order to diversify program content, provide attractive and useful spiritual food, and meet the increasing entertainment needs of the audience, Ho Chi Minh City Television introduces the "special Vietnamese movies" time slot on HTV7.

This time slot is produced by Ho Chi Minh City Television in collaboration with SK Pictures Company, taking place at 7:30 p.m. from Monday to Wednesday every week, starting from October 9.

The film "Under the shadow of the city" directed by Nguyen Minh Cao, follows the two films above in the "special Vietnamese films" time slot. The film tells the story of Trang Pham, a country girl who has to run away with her father because of debt, legal troubles and the evil intentions of the villain. The film features actors: Tu Tri, Trung Huy, Tue Minh, People's Artist Kim Xuan...

Initially, the time slot will air 3 episodes per week. By 2024, this time slot is expected to be increased to air 5 episodes per week.

At the event, Mr. Cao Anh Minh - General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Television, said: "We decided to reinvest in the time slot for Vietnamese films. We named this time slot "special Vietnamese films". This is the effort of HTV with the companionship, discussion, and coordination of SK Pictures. This time slot focuses on everyday stories, set in the Southern region, Ho Chi Minh City".
