On October 13, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuyen, Director of Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourism Management Board, said the above and added that the series of "ghost villas" that Thanh Nien Newspaper previously reported belonged to two projects: "World Wonders and Luxury Resort" of HaCo Investment Joint Stock Company (HaCo Company) and "Flower Park - World Wonders and Ecological Resort" of Ha Anh Construction Import-Export Joint Stock Company (HaAnh Company).

These two projects are subject to the Government Inspectorate's request to review the progress according to Conclusion No. 929/KL-TTCP dated June 12, 2020, because the previous investors were slow to implement the project for many years, leaving the villas abandoned, subject to project revocation.

There are dozens of abandoned villas in Tuyen Lam Lake tourist area.

Then, in December 2021, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee approved the transfer of these two projects to Ocean Vision Joint Stock Company to continue investing in completing the project, to avoid waste. The investor receiving the transfer of these two projects is the collateral at Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank - SCB.

According to Mr. Tuyen, Lam Dong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has assessed the current status of forest resources at these two projects, the total land area of the two projects is 105.9 hectares; of which HaCo Company leases 82 hectares, Ha Anh Company leases 23.8 hectares. Lam Dong Department of Finance said that Ha Anh Company still owes over 44 million VND in forest rent, not including forest rent for the years 2006, 2019, 2020, 2021; HaCo Company has not completed forest rental procedures, so there are no specific figures.

Many people feel sorry when looking at abandoned villas in the middle of the forest.

Lam Dong Department of Planning and Investment said that Ocean Vision Joint Stock Company wants to be granted an investment certificate to adjust the investor after transferring the above two projects, must carry out procedures for forest resource inventory, comply with financial obligations (compensation for damage to forest resources if deforestation occurs, project transfer and other related financial obligations), must develop a plan to plant replacement forests..., but has not yet completed.

The Director of Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area Management Board added that since Lam Dong province had a policy to allow Ocean Vision Joint Stock Company to transfer the above two projects, this unit has repeatedly requested an extension of the time to complete the procedures. "If Ocean Vision Joint Stock Company continues to delay the implementation of procedures to transfer the project within 24 months, Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area Management Board will send a document requesting Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to revoke the two projects of HaCo Company and Ha Anh Company" - Mr. Tuyen said.
