On the morning of February 5, the dragon mascot in Nghe An was "introduced" at the art flower garden on Ho Tung Mau Street (Vinh City). The parts of this mascot were transported, gathered and installed by workers of Vinh City Green Park Joint Stock Company on the night of February 4 to be completed in time to serve people during the Lunar New Year.
The dragon mascot is about 30m long, about 5m high, and weighs about 3 tons. The dragon's head is designed with a majestic demeanor, the body is soft and curvy, showing the image of a dragon holding a pearl hidden in the clouds to rise up. This is a symbol of perseverance, waiting for luck but not losing patience and modesty.
According to Mr. Tran Quoc Bao (Vinh City Green Park Joint Stock Company), the construction unit used steel to fix the dragon frame, lined with a layer of transparent plastic, and covered with a layer of fabric with dragon scale motifs on the outside. The dragon's head is a combination of steel frame, plastic and foam. The dragon's mouth is equipped with lights, symbolizing the image of a dragon holding a pearl.
