The 18th Spring Festival in 2025 in Hanoi will take place for nine consecutive days from February 8 to 16 at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and for many days at five fixed blood donation points of the Institute in Ha Dong and Gia Lam districts (Hanoi). Before the official opening of the Spring Festival, the Institute received nearly 3,000 units of blood, and it is expected that this year's Spring Festival will receive at least 8,000 units of blood.

Notably, unlike thousands of spring festivals taking place across the country, the Red Spring Festival is the only festival where participants do not pray for anything for themselves but come to donate precious drops of blood - a part of life for the sick. That has made the Red Spring Festival special, unique, and distinctive and created a lasting vitality, leaving many impressions and deep memories for the participants.

"We, the medical staff, believe that the spirit of solidarity, compassion, and sharing of love through voluntary blood donation will also bring good feelings, luck, and happiness to everyone participating in the Red Spring Festival," Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh shared.
