On the morning of September 16, Truong Lam commune (Nghi Son town) held a ceremony to receive and bury the remains of martyr Do Hong Luyen at Nghi Son town Martyrs Cemetery.
The remains of martyr Do Hong Luyen were brought back to be buried at Nghi Son town martyrs cemetery.
Martyr Do Hong Luyen was born on January 1, 1957 in Xuan Tien village, Hoa Loc commune, Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province. In 1970, following the Party and State's policy of developing a new economy, he and his family settled in Binh Minh village, Truong Lam commune, Tinh Gia district (now Nghi Son town), Thanh Hoa province; in 1977, at the age of 20, he enlisted in the army in the following units: Company 7, D8, E6, F302, Military Region 7. During his time in the army, he was awarded the rank of private first class, soldier; he and his comrades overcame difficulties and hardships to directly participate in many battles. In a fierce battle, comrade Do Hong Luyen heroically sacrificed himself on August 16, 1978 at the Southern front. The martyr's grave was gathered and laid to rest at Tan Bien Martyrs Cemetery, Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province until today.
According to the wishes of the family and clan, the remains of the martyr were brought to rest at Nghi Son town Martyrs Cemetery for the convenience of the family and clan to worship and burn incense.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates laid wreaths and incense at the Martyrs' Cemetery Memorial, and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, so that our country could "bloom with independence and bear the fruit of freedom". Afterwards, the delegates sent off martyr Do Hong Luyen to his resting place in the motherland at the Nghi Son town Martyrs' Cemetery.
