Cutting ceremony of 2 wind power service vessels CSOV 8720

On the afternoon of May 25, in Ha Long City, Ha Long Shipbuilding Company held a cutting ceremony for two wind power service vessels CSOV 8720, numbered 552205 and 552206.

Representatives of relevant units signed to ensure the progress and quality of production of 2 wind power service vessels CSOV 8720, with registration numbers 552205 and 552206.

These are two service vessels supporting the offshore wind power industry with many modern features and complex structures, requiring high levels of expertise and skills in construction. The vessels have the following technical parameters: Hull length 88.6m; design width 19.7m; design height 5.3m; vessel load of approximately 6,700 GT.

It is known that these are 2 of 6 CSOV 8720 wind power service vessels that Damen Group signed a new construction contract with Ha Long Shipbuilding Company at the end of 2022 , opening up new opportunities for Ha Long Shipbuilding Company to strongly participate in the global renewable energy market in general and in Vietnam in particular.

The first pieces of steel for the two wind power service vessels CSOV 8720, numbered 552205 and 552206, have been cut.

Ha Long Shipbuilding Company commits to complete the construction of 2 new wind power service vessels on time, ensuring quality and absolute customer satisfaction.
