Establishment of Sa Pa Airport Project Appraisal Council

Overall perspective of Sa Pa Airport project.

According to Decision No. 400/QD-TTg, the Chairman of the Council is the Minister of Planning and Investment. The Vice Chairman of the Council is the Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.

Council members include leaders of the Ministries of Transport, Finance, Construction, Justice, National Defense, Public Security, leaders of the State Bank of Vietnam, and leaders of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment is the standing body of the Interdisciplinary Appraisal Council.

Decision No. 400/QD-TTg clearly states: Responsibilities, powers and operating principles of the Interdisciplinary Appraisal Council; responsibilities and powers of the Chairman of the Council, Vice Chairman of the Council, Council members, and standing body of the Interdisciplinary Appraisal Council are implemented respectively according to the provisions of Articles 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 of Decree No. 35/2021/ND-CP dated March 29, 2021 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law on Investment under the public-private partnership model.

The Council uses the seal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment to serve the Council's activities. The Council dissolves itself after completing its tasks.
