A typical example of young people who have successfully started a business in An Thinh Commune, Van Yen District, Yen Bai Province is Nguyen Van Huynh. Currently, Mr. Huynh is the owner of a hot and cold stove manufacturing facility with branches in many provinces and cities nationwide. The facility's annual revenue reaches 8.3 billion VND, with a profit of about 2 billion VND/year.
"The first stage of starting a business was very difficult, we had to be self-sufficient because we were poor and had little capital. It was also difficult to borrow from the bank because we did not have a reputation at that time, and the land here was not very valuable. We did not sell the first batches of products but went everywhere to invite people to try them, then we saw what was good and promoted it, and improved what was not good. About 3 years later, people started to like it and buy a lot, then I started to have a market and expanded to other provinces and cities," said Mr. Huynh.
Mr. Huynh's hot and cold wood stove product has two parts: one is the stove, the other is the thermos, connected by two heat-resistant pipes. When people burn wood to cook in the stove, the excess heat will not be dispersed into the air, but will go through the two pipes above to the thermos to heat the water in the tank. Only about 15-20 minutes later, people will have more hot water in the thermos for use. This product is very popular with people in the highlands because of its convenience and savings in the "kill two birds with one stone" style.
Mr. Nguyen Van Chi, Vice Chairman of An Thinh Commune People's Committee, said that Mr. Huynh is one of the most outstanding union members of the commune. Not only is he successful in business, Mr. Huynh also creates jobs for more than 20 young people in the commune. In addition, Mr. Huynh also regularly sponsors community activities of the commune such as sports tournaments, art performances, etc. and actively participates in charity work.

In parallel with his business, Mr. Huynh is still the Secretary of the village's Youth Union, is on the Standing Committee of the Commune Youth Union, and is also studying for a bachelor's degree in Economic Law at Hanoi Open University.
