The OCOP product evaluation and classification council of Tran Yen district evaluates and classifies products. |
Accordingly, there are 10 products participating in this evaluation, including 6 newly evaluated products: specialty salt-cured chicken; chicken claws, Mong chicken of VN Food Processing Joint Stock Company in residential group 11, Co Phuc town; Thanh Lien tea, Tam Tra Bao Hung products of Bao Hung High-Quality Green Tea Production Cooperative; Nam Trung salt-cured hill chicken product of Ran Van Nam business household, Minh Quan commune. 4 products were re-evaluated, including: Van Hoi honey product, Minh Quan, Bao Hung green tea and Minh Quan red-fleshed dragon fruit.
At the Conference, representatives of cooperatives and business households whose products participated in the first round of OCOP evaluation and ranking presented in detail the product criteria, implementation process and some contents as required by the OCOP scoring Council. Based on the detailed evaluation, members of the OCOP product evaluation and classification Council participated in scoring 10 products of the subjects.
The evaluation and classification of OCOP products were carried out seriously, accurately, and in accordance with the quality and requirements set forth. As a result, 8 products participating in the new evaluation and re-evaluation were evaluated by the Evaluation Council to meet the standards of 3-star OCOP products at the district level. 2 products Thanh Lien Tra and Tam Tra Bao Hung were recommended by the Council to be evaluated by the province as 4-star OCOP products.
Here, the Council for evaluating and ranking OCOP products of Tran Yen district also requested cooperatives and production and business households to continue to complete their dossiers to be recognized. Through the evaluation and assessment of OCOP products, it has contributed to improving the quality, value and competitiveness of products in the market and affirming the characteristics of each locality. Thus, up to now, Tran Yen district has 45 OCOP products with 3 stars or more.
It is known that in 2023, Tran Yen district had 3 OCOP products of the district: high-quality green tea of Bao Hung High-quality Green Tea Production Cooperative (Tran Yen district); Quy Mong vermicelli of Viet Hai Dang Cooperative (Tran Yen district); Hoa Cuong cigarette cinnamon of Khanh Thanh Cinnamon Cooperative (Tran Yen district) that met the quality standards for export to the UK market.
