Proposal to resolve 955 cases after supervision

On February 14, in Pho Yen City, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a workshop to collect comments on the draft Summary Report on the implementation of Project No. 02-DA/TU dated March 26, 2021 of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee on promoting the role of supervision and social criticism to contribute to the Party and government building of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, period 2021-2025.

Implementing Project No. 02-DA/TU, from the fourth quarter of each year, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have chaired and coordinated with socio-political organizations to develop plans for social supervision and criticism in the following years. Accordingly, the content of social supervision and criticism focuses on issues of public interest and many opinions; at the same time, it is linked to the political tasks of the locality and unit and is consistent with the functions and tasks of the Fatherland Front.

From 2021 to the end of June 2024, the People's Inspection Committees organized 974 supervisions, and the Community Investment Supervision Committee organized supervisions of over 2,530 projects. Through supervision, the committees made recommendations on 955 cases. The recommendations were basically accepted and resolved by competent agencies and units.

At the workshop, delegates also pointed out some limitations in implementing Project No. 02-DA/TU; at the same time, proposed increasing the level of financial support for the activities of the People's Inspection Committee and the Community Investment Supervision Committee in residential areas.

Concluding the Workshop, the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received comments and contributions from delegates to complete the draft Summary Report on the implementation of Project No. 02-DA/TU.
