BPO - On the morning of December 3, the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Binh Phuoc province, led by Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vu Thanh Ngu, inspected the implementation results of tourism development projects and the dissemination, guidance and inspection of tourist areas and spots in Bu Dang district.

Bu Dang has an important strategic position connecting Binh Phuoc province and the provinces of the Southeast with the provinces of the Central Highlands. The district has many advantages in terms of landscapes, relics, and historical culture to develop tourism. Among them, there are 2 highlights that attract a large number of visitors: the S'tieng ethnic cultural reserve in Bom Bo and the Bu Lach grassland golf course and eco-tourism area.

Implementing the tourism development project, in recent times, Bu Dang district has focused on investing in infrastructure development, maintenance, and embellishment of relics and conservation areas... In addition, the district has also proactively invested in building typical tourism products and OCOP products as tourist gifts such as: Can wine, bamboo rice, brocade, rice, cashew nuts of all kinds. However, the current difficulty is that the points for tourism development are all located within the bauxite planning space; socialization of investment in motels and food services for tourists is still limited...

Concluding the meeting, Head of the inspection delegation Vu Thanh Ngu emphasized: Bu Dang has potential and strengths for tourism development, so the district needs to consider planning for tourism development; at the same time, coordinate with provincial departments and branches to advise and propose policies and mechanisms to call for investment and focus on strengthening the work of preserving and protecting the landscape and environment.
