On August 13, the Da Nang Traffic Signal and Public Transport Operation Center (Datramac) sent a document to transport business units about submitting capacity documents to consider operating the non-subsidized bus route No. 06 from Da Nang airport to Vietnam-Korea University.
Accordingly, the contract implementation period for this bus route is 5 years from the date of signing the contract, plus 60 days for providing vehicles.
The above-mentioned non-subsidized bus route No. 06 will replace the subsidized bus route No. 06 currently operated by Quang An 1 Industrial Joint Stock Company - Da Nang Branch (route Da Nang airport - Non Nuoc tourist area). The existing bus route will expire in the near future.
It is expected that the non-subsidized bus route No. 06 will have an expanded route compared to the old route. Accordingly, the route will go from Da Nang airport through Non Nuoc tourist area, through FPT urban area, Truong Sa - Vo Quy Huan - Tran Quoc Vuong - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Tran Dai Nghia - Vietnam - Korea University.
In addition, when the new bus route 06 is put into operation, it will connect with the adjacent bus route LK02 with the route from Vietnam - Korea University to Cua Dai (Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province).
It is known that Da Nang currently has 11 subsidized bus routes. Of these, 5 routes are operated by Quang An 1 Industrial Joint Stock Company - Da Nang Branch and 6 routes are operated by Phuong Trang Company.
In addition, there are 6 non-subsidized bus routes operated by Phuong Trang and 3 adjacent bus routes Da Nang - Hue and Da Nang - Quang Nam (routes LK02 and LK21).
