On the afternoon of December 26, the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest officially kicked off with many new points, aiming to catch up with the country's current issues and the flow of the times. Attending the press conference were many beauty queens and runners-up of different periods such as Miss Vietnam 2010 Ngoc Han, Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh, Miss Vietnam 2018 Tran Tieu Vy, Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha, the reigning Miss Vietnam - Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, runner-up Huyen My, runner-up Trinh Thuy Linh and runner-up Ngoc Hang. |

Miss Ngoc Han affirmed that the Miss Vietnam contest is organized more professionally and innovatively each year. |

“The contest is getting closer and closer to young people. Hopefully, Miss Vietnam 2024 will attract many talented and charming contestants and find a worthy girl who meets the contest’s criteria for the highest position,” said Miss Ngoc Han. |

Returning to showbiz after giving birth, Miss Do My Linh was excited to attend the Miss Vietnam 2024 press conference. Do My Linh said that despite being busy with many jobs, she would do her best to arrange to attend the event, returning to the cradle that helped her grow up. |

According to Do My Linh, this is a prestigious and meaningful contest for her. She hopes that the season will soon find a new beauty queen who will be crowned in a worthy manner. “Current beauty contests have changed a lot. Miss Tieu Vy is grateful for the journey she has gone through and the title of Miss Vietnam 2018. According to the beauty from Quang, she has many opportunities to develop and improve herself after the contest. |

I cannot forget the memorable memories and the moment when my name was called for the highest position. Do Thi Ha affirmed that she became a better version of herself after being crowned Miss Vietnam 2020. Do Thi Ha shared that thanks to the title, she could easily carry out many community projects and her dream job. |

Miss Thanh Thuy said that the Miss International title she won made her two-year term more meaningful. “This is the right time for me to end my term and find a new Miss. I am very satisfied with my term. I hope this year's contest will be a great success,” she said. |

Thanh Thuy shared that she was nervous and worried, not knowing if she had enough confidence to participate in Miss Vietnam 2022. Runner-up Trinh Thuy Linh believes that the secret to winning a beauty contest is to believe in yourself and try to become the best version of yourself. |

“I have only participated in one beauty pageant, Miss Vietnam 2022, and I feel that I have learned and experienced a lot. I believe that you will have meaningful journeys in this year's contest,” said Trinh Thuy Linh. |

Ngoc Hang said she was grateful to be given the opportunity to become the second runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2022, continuing to Miss Intercontinental 2023. |

“Over the past two years, I have seen myself grow a lot, both in my work and in my inner self. I have two pieces of advice for this year’s contestants. Be mentally prepared for a new beauty season.
