Foreign investors reversed net buying, VN-Index surpassed 1,265 points

NDO - The last trading session of the Year of the Dragon, January 24, the market traded sideways in the morning session due to the differentiation of most stock groups and mainly slight fluctuations. In the afternoon session, the demand increased, in which the pillar groups such as banking, securities, real estate and large codes: MSN, GAS, GVR improved, helping the main indices reverse and break out. At the end of the session, VN-Index increased by 5.42 points to 1,265.05 points.


On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased slightly compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 11,104.17 billion.

Foreign investors reversed their net buying of approximately VND632 billion on the HoSE. On the buying side, LPB shares were bought the most with a value of over VND236 billion, followed by MSN (VND144 billion), PC1 (VND71 billion)... On the contrary, FPT was sold the most (VND177 billion), followed by FRT (VND55 billion), VRE (VND38 billion)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 20 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 5 stocks decreasing.

Of which, MSN increased by 3.98% to VND68,000/share, BCM increased by 1.91%, MWG increased by 1.52%, GAS increased by 1.34%, GVR increased by 1.23%, HDB increased by 1.12%.

Codes: ACB, BID, BVH, MBB, POW, SHB, SSI, TCB, TPB, VCB, VIB, VJC, VNM, VRE increased slightly.

Five codes stopped at reference, including: SSB, STB, VHM, VIC, VPB.

On the contrary, the codes: CTG, FPT, HPG, PLX, SAB decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks traded differently, while VCA increased by 1.31%, DTL increased by 1.05%, HSG increased slightly, POM and TLH stopped at the reference, SMC decreased by 3.23%, NKG decreased by 1.48%, HMC and HPG both decreased slightly.

The group of securities stocks was in the red in the morning session but improved in the afternoon session and closed the session slightly up. Besides SSI mentioned above, VIX increased by 3.24%, DSE increased by 1.73%, BSI increased by 1.64%, APG, TVB, VDS increased slightly, TCI, TVS, VND stopped at the reference. On the contrary, ORS decreased by 1.75%, AGR, CTS, FTS, HCM, VCI decreased slightly.

Similarly, the banking stocks group closed up 0.43%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB increased by 1.09%, LPB increased by 1.56%, MSB increased slightly, OCB increased by 2.75%, NAB increased by 3.05%.

Real estate stocks traded quite positively, closing the session up 0.39%. Among them, many codes increased well such as: TDC increased to the ceiling price of VND 12,300/share, NLG increased by 6.58%, NVL increased by 2.29%, PDR increased by 2.69%, QCG increased by 2.96%, TCH increased by 5.56%, TDH increased by 3.72%, TIX increased by 6.76%...

Besides, industry groups such as: consumer goods and decoration increased by 2.89%, utilities increased by 1.32%, transportation increased, health care, raw materials, distribution and retail, production materials, energy, food, beverages and tobacco increased slightly.

On the other hand, insurance, telecommunications, and software closed the session in red.

* The Vietnamese stock market index increased sharply at the end of the session today, VNXALL-Index closed up 10.92 points (+0.52%), to 2,117.01 points. Liquidity of the whole market, with trading volume reaching 501.65 million units, corresponding to trading value reaching 12,160.50 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 207 stocks increasing in price, 89 stocks remaining unchanged and 172 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 223.01 points, up 0.35 points (+0.16%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 36.71 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND537.24 billion. The entire floor had 85 stocks increasing, 66 stocks remaining unchanged and 63 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 0.44 points (-0.10%) to 463.85 points. Trading volume reached about 17.81 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND368.09 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 10 stocks increasing, 8 stocks remaining unchanged and 12 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 94.30 points, up 0.42 points (+0.45%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 61.03 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 631.33 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 213 stocks increasing, 102 stocks remaining unchanged and 109 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 5.42 points (+0.43%) at 1,265.05 points. Liquidity reached over 536.19 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND12,209.03 billion. The entire floor had 258 stocks increasing, 61 stocks remaining unchanged and 195 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 5.05 points (+0.38%) to 1,337.59 points. Liquidity reached more than 166.61 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND5,270.05 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 20 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 5 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were VIX (over 23.38 million units), GEX (over 20.51 million units), DIG (over 17.52 million units), LPB (over 14.66 million units), HDB (over 11.21 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were QNP (6.99%), TDC (6.96%), GEE (6.95%), DCL (6.92%), GEX (6.88%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were CTI (-6.98%), HRC (-6.95%), FUEIP100 (-6.82%), YEG (-6.43%), PGI (-6.24%).

* Today's derivatives market had 156,836 contracts traded, worth VND 21,046.95 billion.
