Saigon Co.op West Warehouse is expected to open and officially come into operation in July 2024. This is the first warehouse system in Vietnam built according to “green” standards with modern equipment, applying advanced technology of the world.
Delegates perform the sand shoveling ceremony at the groundbreaking ceremony of Saigon Co.op warehouse in the West of Ho Chi Minh City at Le Minh Xuan 3 Industrial Park.
The warehouse has a floor area of nearly 34,600 m2, a warehouse area of nearly 15,134 m2, an investment project between Saigon Co.op and Saigon VRG Company (the owner and investor of Le Minh Xuan 3 Industrial Park) located in Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City - a strategic location, easily connecting to the main roads of the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City including Provincial Road 10, National Highway 1A, Ring Road 3, Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway to the markets of the Western provinces, international airports and seaports.
SVI 1 Logistics Area is expected to serve goods from more than 500 retail points of Saigon Co.op in the western area of Ho Chi Minh City and some western provinces such as Long An, Tien Giang... with more than 1,000 suppliers delivering goods directly to the warehouse.
The warehouse includes all business lines of Saigon Co.op: technological food, cosmetics, utensils, clothing, fresh food, frozen food and especially this is one of the warehouses that will meet the business goods for Saigon Co.op's e-commerce sector (E-Grocery).

Saigon Co.op warehouse in the West phase 1 is built according to "green" logistics standards with a surrounding green space system, natural daylighting system, automatic fire protection... Shelves over 13 meters high, combined with modern equipment, new warehouse management systems (WMS, WCS, TMS), equipment and semi-automatic operating models moving towards automation.
