China is a key international market for Vietnamese tourism in general and Quang Ninh in particular. Recently, the 5-star cruise ship Costa Serena docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port, bringing 3,040 tourists from Hong Kong, China to Ha Long. This is the second time in 2024 that the Italian cruise ship Costa Serena, famous for its journeys in Asia, has brought guests to Ha Long on the Hong Kong - Ha Long and Ha Long - Hong Kong routes.

It is known that in the last months of the year, the Costa Serena will return to Ha Long many more times.

Not only attracting international visitors by sea, with the advantage of having a long border with the neighboring country, Quang Ninh also promotes and connects Chinese tourists by road. Typically, recently, the Department of Transport of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) and the Department of Transport of Quang Ninh Province (Vietnam) have allowed the New National Line Group Transport Co., Ltd. (China) to cooperate with the Vietnam-China Global Friendship Group Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) to implement a fixed route to transport passengers from Nanning City (China) - Ha Long City (Vietnam) via the Bac Luan Bridge II Customs Clearance. The implementation of passenger transport between the two cities of Nanning (China) - Ha Long (Vietnam) contributes to diversifying tourism products for visitors to Ha Long - Quang Ninh.

Accordingly, Global Vietnam-China Friendship Group Joint Stock Company has implemented a plan to operate shuttle bus passenger transport according to a fixed international schedule: Departure point from Phong Linh Passenger Station (Nanning, China) - destination is Bai Chay Passenger Station (Quang Ninh, Vietnam). Main route: Nanning (G75 Lan Hai Expressway, G7511 Tan Dong Expressway) - Dong Hung - Dong Hung Border Gate (China) - Mong Cai Border Gate - Mong Cai Expressway - Ha Long - Bai Chay - Ha Long (Vietnam).

The journey departs from Phong Linh Station at 9:00 (China time), stops at Dong Hung Station at 11:00 (China time) every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, with a frequency of 1 trip/day; arrives at Bai Chay Bus Station (Ha Long City) at 14:30 (Vietnam time). The return bus from Ha Long to Nanning departs from Bai Chay Bus Station (Ha Long City) at 10:30 (Vietnam time) every Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, with a frequency of 1 trip/day, stops at Dong Hung Station at 14:00 (China time), arrives at Phong Linh Station at 16:30 (China time).

After a period of operation, the passenger transport route from Nanning City (China) to Ha Long City (Vietnam) via Bac Luan Bridge II has received very positive signals, attracting a large number of Chinese tourists to Ha Long - Quang Ninh.

It can be seen that the rich, unique and attractive tourism resources, along with the synchronous and modern transport infrastructure system by air, road and sea, helping Chinese tourists travel conveniently and quickly, certainly the destinations of Quang Ninh will continue to attract Chinese tourists in the coming time.
