This is an event in a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); Summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese Literature and Arts after the country's reunification.
Attending the event were former leaders of Can Tho City; members of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors; and many artists of the city.

The thematic exhibition “Can Tho Literature and Arts in the 50-year journey (1975-2025)” introduces more than 300 images, artifacts, and documents about the Party's attention to literature and arts; outstanding achievements of Can Tho culture and arts after the liberation of the South and national reunification.
The photo exhibition "Can Tho Literature and Arts 50 Years (1975-2025)" includes 100 images, recording outstanding achievements in the work and creation of Can Tho literature and arts from 1975 to present.

The exhibition contributes to honoring the role and position of artists in building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity. At the same time, through the content of this exhibition, the public, especially the youth, can better understand the values of culture and art, and join hands to preserve and promote the traditional culture of the nation.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasized: Over the past 50 years, under the leadership of the Party, Can Tho literature and arts have been active, leaving many good impressions, enriching spiritual life, meeting the cultural enjoyment needs of the people during the period of national construction and development.

Thematic exhibition will be available to visitors until August 1, 2025 at Can Tho City Museum, No. 01 Hoa Binh, Tan An Ward, Ninh Kieu District. The photo exhibition will be available at Can Tho City Museum from April 1 to April 5, 2025, and will then be rotated to serve visitors at Hung King Temple in Can Tho City (Lac Long Quan Street, Binh Thuy Ward, Binh Thuy District), from April 7 to May 20, 2025.
