DNO - On the afternoon of December 16, the Da Nang Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor of the Western Ring Road) said it was mobilizing machinery and human resources to fix the landslide on the route.

Accordingly, heavy rains over the past few days have caused a landslide on the road section through Hoa Tho village, Hoa Phu commune, Hoa Vang district; soil, rocks, and mud have spilled onto the road surface.

Specifically, at the scene, a landslide appeared on the positive slope stretching nearly 100m. Soil, rocks, and mud, following heavy rain, slid down and buried the drainage system and a lane on the right side of the route, causing traffic congestion.

The slope of the area is protected by a stone gabion and drainage ditch, but heavy rain caused water to overflow the ditch, bringing mud and soil down and burying the road.

Leaders of the City People's Committee, the Department of Transport, and the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Da Nang Transport Works were present at the scene to inspect and directly direct the repair work.

The Management Board of Danang Traffic Construction Investment Projects said that as soon as the incident occurred, the unit had a plan to divert and regulate traffic through the area to ensure safety for passing vehicles.

It is expected that by December 16, the mud clearing and route will be completed.
