CNN quoted Israeli sources as saying that the country's military is conducting a second airstrike on Iran.
All three major Israeli television stations reported on the second wave of Israeli airstrikes on Iran. Channel 12 , citing non-state reports in Iran, said the Israeli airstrikes were taking place east of Tehran and a command post of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Channel 12 also reported that the first wave of Israeli airstrikes targeted missile and air defense facilities.

AFP reporters shared that consecutive explosions and bright streaks of light could be seen in the sky over central Tehran.
Four more explosions were heard east of Tehran and “air defences are still active” in the Iranian capital, Reuters reported.
ABC News reports that Israel's attack on Iran is still underway and is expected to last only overnight. There have been no reports of casualties or damage to Israeli warplanes so far.
Yisrael Ziv, former director of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Operations Directorate, called the Israeli airstrikes "historic", stressing that the fact that Israel only targeted military targets "puts Iran in a dilemma" regarding its response.
Iran's civil aviation authority announced that it would close its airspace until 9am on October 26 (12:30pm Hanoi time). Data from the civil aviation tracking website FlightRadar24 showed that four civilian aircraft had flown out of the capital Tehran when Israel began its attack.
The Iraqi Ministry of Transport on the same day suspended flights at all airports until further notice "due to tensions in the region".
Decision after weeks of consideration
Israeli officials said the decision to strike back at Iran came after weeks of discussions within the country's security cabinet about the nature and scope of such an attack.
In the end, Israel opted to strike only military targets, which an Israeli official said were those that “posed a threat or could pose a threat.”

Another Israeli official described the decision to strike as the result of “a very careful decision-making process.”
That process also included multiple rounds of consultations with US officials, including a phone call between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden.
Israeli officials have yet to release further details about the number and nature of military targets, but the military is expected to release more details after the operation ends.
Iran has yet to comment on the attack.
