VNA correspondent in the Middle East said that researchers in Iran have released the latest version of the cancer treatment drug Tederox, helping patients with this incurable disease live longer.
According to the Iranian state news agency (IRNA), the drug is produced by a pharmaceutical company with a solid research and development background. The drug was introduced at the Iran Nano 2024 Exhibition, held in Tehran from November 3-6.
Ali Aghajani, a pharmacist and the company’s business development director, told IRNA that the new version of Tederox, which uses targeted therapy, could extend the lives of cancer patients while reducing the side effects common to cancer drugs. According to the expert, the drug took four years to develop.
