The decision clearly states that Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city, will be recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha assigned the Hanoi People's Committee to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directed the Thanh Tri District People's Committee to continue maintaining and improving the quality of criteria, focusing on planning and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.
This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation (September 30, 2024).
* According to Thanh Tri district's report, in 2023, the district completed and exceeded 20/20 economic - cultural - social targets; the district's economic structure developed in the right direction. Total production value increased by 14%. Total state budget revenue increased by 9.7% over the same period in 2022.
In addition, the district focused on completing the dossier, which was assessed by the city to basically meet the criteria of an advanced new rural district; 15 communes met the model new rural standards (exceeding the city's planning target for the period 2021-2025); the city recognized 8 tourist destinations and 1 craft village in Hanoi.
Propaganda, cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities took place vigorously, promptly serving the political tasks of the city and district. Social welfare was focused on and achieved good results, reducing 344 near-poor households, the rate of near-poor households in the whole district decreased to 0.19%. The quality of education and training was improved; the management of planning, urban areas, land, and site clearance was focused and directed resolutely.
Administrative reform work is focused on direction and implementation; discipline, administrative discipline, sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees, especially leaders are improved; continue to maintain the ranking of administrative reform index. In 2023, the district's administrative reform index is 95.21%, an increase of 1.36% compared to 2022; ranked 5/30, the leading unit in districts in terms of administrative reform index; local defense and military are strengthened; political security, social order and safety are stable and maintained.
Planning, land management, construction order and urban development, site clearance, and disbursement of public investment capital for key projects are being implemented synchronously.
