Cau Giay Park is located on Thanh Thai Street (Dich Vong Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi), about 6,540 square meters wide, with an investment capital of 8 billion VND from socialized capital. The park opened in 2014 with the aim of creating safe playgrounds for children and residents. After a long time of operation, many items at Cau Giay Park are in a state of disrepair. Faced with the state of degradation, the People's Committee of Cau Giay District approved the construction design to be implemented after the basic design (construction drawing design - estimate) of the Cau Giay Park Renovation and Repair Project with a total investment of 66 billion 280 million VND. The project scale includes upgrading the park with an area of 95,282m2; Lake area of 14,808m2; Construction area including: rest huts, toilets... about 899m2.... According to Economic & Urban reporters on February 20, relevant units have started construction and carried out the first tasks. Workers collect and transport garbage to designated places, ensuring environmental hygiene and safety. String up ropes and place warning signs in the construction area to ensure the safety of people living inside the park. Machinery was also mobilized to support the cleaning work at Gate 4 of Cau Giay Park. At A1 hill of the park, degraded items will be cleaned up and renovated. Current status of hill A is degraded and subsided. Previously installed children's play equipment and sports equipment were thoroughly inspected and repairs were proposed. The project will also install additional playground equipment (cross-country bridges, swings, spider nets, exercise sets, ball houses, etc.) and install additional outdoor sports equipment. Workers clear the grass at Hill A for renovation. Monitoring image at A1 hill area before construction. Hill A1 seen from above is the most degraded area in Cau Giay Park. In the Central Square area, many items have also seriously degraded. The stairs leading to the Central Square have collapsed, affecting people's activities and entertainment. According to the approval decision, the project will renovate the Central Square area with terrazzo concrete. In which, the terrazzo concrete yard is 25mm thick, 100% grade, with a hardened anti-moss paint layer on the surface. Director of Cau Giay District Construction Investment Project Management Board Nguyen Viet Trung said that Cau Giay Park is not only an attractive weekend entertainment place for Hanoians, but after renovation, it will also be a giant "green lung" that helps purify the air, bringing a fresher space. Perspective of the Central Square area. Cau Giay Park Gate will be renovated by building new pillars, re-cladding the stone and replacing the gate with an electric slide with anti-jamming sensors. Stone benches were replaced, more rest houses were built, artificial turf was renovated, old fences were removed and replaced with new ones around the lake... Area C was renovated by building a new artificial stream running up the existing grass hill to form a waterfall, with decorative stones on both sides of the stream combined with shrubs to create a landscape and walking path. A new bridge over the stream was built to create a highlight for the area... In addition, area C will be supplemented with decorative frames made of powder-coated steel combined with lights and green trees. A resident shared: “Over time, it is obvious that the park will deteriorate. Investing in renovation will help people feel more secure when doing activities here. Many people are waiting for the new look of Cau Giay Park.” After renovation, Cau Giay Park promises to become one of the greenest, cleanest and most beautiful parks in Hanoi.
