With its maintenance and important contributions to the development of traditional crafts and villages, in 2014, Van Cu vermicelli village was recognized as a traditional craft village of Hue city.
The reason why Van Cu vermicelli is famous is because during the production process, the vermicelli maker does not use any additives except for raw salt to soak, wash rice, and raise flour to clean impurities, disinfect, and remove acidity. This is also the reason why Van Cu vermicelli can only be kept in the natural environment for 24 hours, but it is also the advantage that consumers trust and choose.
Among them, the small vermicelli – the finished product of the first batch of water when boiling vermicelli – is the most highly rated by customers. Whether it is small vermicelli or separate vermicelli, the characteristic of Van Cu vermicelli is that the vermicelli is smooth, has a clear white color, shiny surface, when eaten it is not sour but has a fragrant smell of flour, is not crumbly but not too chewy.
