On the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 15), on the afternoon of October 12, the People's Committee of Cu M'gar district organized a discussion and dialogue with businesses and entrepreneurs investing, producing and doing business in the district.

In Cu M'gar district, there are currently about 290 enterprises and 19 cooperatives operating in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishery, mining, manufacturing and processing industry, production and distribution of electricity, gas, construction, wholesale, retail, automobile and motorbike repair and about 6,406 individual economic establishments in non-agricultural, forestry and fishery.

Along with the growth in quantity, enterprises and cooperatives in the area have continuously developed and improved their capital, revenue, profit, and labor efficiency. Enterprises and entrepreneurs are present in almost all industries, fields of production, business, and activities; a force of young, dynamic entrepreneurs has emerged, daring to think, daring to do, successfully starting new and creative business models. Some enterprises and entrepreneurs have initially made a splash, affirming their brand value.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vu Hong Nhat, Chairman of the District People's Committee, said that the socio-economic development results in the first 9 months of 2023 had positive contributions from the team of enterprises and businessmen with investment, production and business activities in the area. This is an important "springboard" for the district to continue to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development for the whole year of 2023. At the same time, he hoped that the team of enterprises and businessmen would further promote the spirit of creativity and dynamism, constantly improve their professional qualifications, proactively innovate production and business models towards digital transformation; pay attention to restructuring the labor force, expanding the market... in accordance with the requirements and tasks in the new situation, ensuring the healthy development of the market, serving the lives of people in the area.
To create conditions for businesses, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives to operate stably, Mr. Tran Dinh Nhuan, Secretary of the Cu M'gar District Party Committee, affirmed that the district continues to pay attention to directing the reform of administrative procedures, creating an open environment to attract new investment into the district; always accompanying, receptive, listening, and substantially removing difficulties and obstacles so that real investors and real workers all have the opportunity for entrepreneurs and businesses to compete equally in the area; and feel secure in developing production and business.

Meeting with businesses and entrepreneurs, the District People's Committee informed the socio-economic development situation of the district in the first 9 months of 2023. Accordingly, the total value of main product production reached 8,733.2/14,310 billion VND, equal to 61.03% of the plan; mobilized social investment capital reached 5,295.5/8,500 billion VND, reaching 62.3%; total circulation of goods in the area reached 4,898.4/7,800 billion VND, reaching 62.8%. Total state budget revenue in the district reached 203.289 billion VND, equal to 100.14% of the provincial estimate and 89.16% of the district's assigned estimate.
