Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) has decided to maintain the warning status for two companies, Garmex Saigon Corporation (HoSE: GMC) and Binh Duong Construction and Transport Corporation (HoSE: BCE).
Specifically, undistributed profit after tax (PAT) as of June 30, 2023 on the audited consolidated financial statements (FS) for the first half of 2023 of Binh Duong Construction and Transport was a loss of VND 51.7 billion.
For Garmex Saigon, the parent company's after-tax profit lost 33.10 billion VND, undistributed after-tax profit lost 43.43 billion VND based on the audited consolidated financial statements for the first half of 2023 of a loss of 51.7 billion VND.
Accordingly, the shares of these two companies are warned according to the provisions of Point b, Clause 4, Article 37 of the Regulations on listing and trading of listed securities issued under Decision No. 17 dated March 31, 2022 of the Board of Members of the Vietnam Stock Exchange.
At the same time, during this period, AGM shares of An Giang Import-Export JSC were announced by HoSE to be put on warning status from September 7, 2023.
AGM shares were announced by HoSE to be put on warning list from September 7, 2023.
Accordingly, the reason AGM shares were put on the warning list by HoSE is that the listed organization had undistributed profit after tax as of December 31, 2033 on the audited consolidated financial statements for 2022 with a loss of VND 70.73 billion.
AGM shares are also subject to trading restrictions under Decision No. 220 dated May 16, 2023 of HoSE because the listed organization was late in submitting audited financial statements for 2022 (separate and consolidated) more than 45 days after the prescribed deadline.
An Giang Import Export Joint Stock Company was established and officially put into operation in 1976, formerly known as An Giang Foreign Trade Company (Angimex). The company operates in the fields of food production, processing and trading; vehicle trading services (motorbikes, spare parts and services); agricultural materials (fertilizers and pesticides) and high-tech agricultural services.
Previously, the State Securities Commission decided to fine the company VND 267.5 million for not disclosing information on the State Securities Commission's system and the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange's website the following documents: Audited 2022 Financial Statements and 2022 Annual Reports.
At the same time, the report contains incorrect information about after-tax profit figures between the 2nd Quarter 2022 Financial Report and the audited 2022 Semi-Annual Financial Report .
