This morning, more than 500 students of Ly Nhon Primary School (District 4, Ho Chi Minh City) returned to school after the incident on September 4. Due to the strong wind, the school's roof was blown off, and the ceiling collapsed in the hallway and classrooms on the 3rd floor.
There were no casualties in the incident. However, the facilities in the classrooms, the roof and the ceiling on the third floor were severely damaged. This resulted in the school being unable to hold the opening ceremony of the new school year for more than 500 students.
For the past two weeks, students have had to temporarily attend school at another school while the school undergoes repairs.
