Technology products, new trends and solutions in renewable energy and green transformation will be introduced by businesses at the biggest technology festival of the year.
The event "Techconnect & Innovation Vietnam 2023" will take place on September 29-30 at the Planning, Fair and Exhibition Center, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province. With the theme "Innovation - Sustainable Development", the program is designed with 7 activities including forums, conferences to exchange information on the topic of technology connection and innovation, product demonstration and technology focus, connection to promote investment and research cooperation.
From 8:00 a.m. on August 29, the 2023 Technology and Energy Forum opened with more than 400 participants. Experts discussed new and modern technology trends domestically and internationally, and clarified Vietnam's support policies in research and application of energy technology.
The opening ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. on September 29 with the participation of government leaders, ministries, large corporations, scientists, and especially the business community and those interested in technology. Pioneering enterprises in technology application and transfer, along with domestic and international experts in innovation, digital transformation, green technology, etc., will share their experiences. Topics on technological innovation, energy transition, and sustainable development will be discussed.
The Digital Transformation and Green Transformation Forum for Sustainable Development on the morning of September 30th began with lessons learned and commitments to support Vietnam in its green transformation towards sustainable development. The panel discussion included four presentations from speakers and domestic and international experts. In the following panel discussion, representatives of innovative enterprises also shared comprehensive digital transformation solutions for businesses.

Technology focus - new technology trends is a new activity of the program, which will take place throughout the two days of September 29 and 30 at the Innovation Stage area. Under the coordination of the chair, the sessions will take place in parallel during the day; experts, institutes and businesses will exchange information on major technology issues. Topics covered include new materials; green energy, logistics and supply chains; science serving health (agriculture and medicine); technology 4.0.
In addition, there are also consulting and connecting technology supply and demand activities, to exchange and provide in-depth advice on policies, technology solutions and technological innovation, intellectual property, and quality measurement standards for businesses in need. Here, businesses can also access capital from funds, science and technology programs, and connect finance and technology to support innovative businesses to help develop product value chains.
Techconnect & Innovation Vietnam 2023 is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Quang Ninh People's Committee, and organized by the Department of Technology Application and Development, Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ninh province.
Organized since 2011, Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam aims to build a national innovation system to convert and apply knowledge and technology into practice; create a direct bridge for technology suppliers and demand sides to exchange, discuss and sign cooperation agreements and technology transfer contracts.
In 2022, the event took place in Ho Chi Minh City with the theme "Connecting green technology, clean agriculture", attracting more than 13,000 visitors, of which the technology demonstration exhibition had more than 1,000 visitors. The event became a forum for businesses and experts to discuss and share information with policy makers, promote application, technology transfer, and product commercialization.
