Can Tho City Veterans Association organizes field conference in 2025

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Huynh Thanh Phuong, Chairman of the Association of War Veterans in Can Tho City, praised all levels of the Association of War Veterans and cadres and members of the Association of War Veterans for successfully implementing the movement "War Veterans help each other reduce poverty and do good business". Mr. Huynh Thanh Phuong suggested that all levels of the Association of War Veterans continue to pay attention to directing the consolidation and improvement of the quality of operations of economic models of cooperatives and cooperative groups; research and apply digital transformation in production and business activities; reduce overdue debts of loans from the Bank for Social Policies; mobilize resources to build and repair houses for war veterans facing housing difficulties... Thereby helping war veterans develop their family economy and improve their lives.

During the conference, 130 cadres and members of the Veterans Association from districts and towns shared experiences and effectiveness of economic models, such as raising bantam chickens, growing longan, plum, etc. On this occasion, cadres and members of the Veterans Association visited the durian growing model of Mr. Huynh Van Quy in Truong Trung A hamlet, Tan Thoi commune.
