On February 14, Tripadvisor announced the top 25 dream honeymoon destinations for couples who want to travel this year. Hoi An is the only representative of Vietnam on the list, ranking second after Bali, Indonesia. This city on the central coast of Quang Nam province was an important trading port in Southeast Asia from the 15th to 19th centuries, and has been well preserved to this day.
Hoi An is one of the favorite destinations for tourists, especially known by more and more international visitors. On the 14th day of the lunar month, the old town is lit up at night by thousands of lanterns. Famous attractions in the area include the Japanese Covered Bridge and Quan Cong Temple.
