Exceeded 9/9 planned targets

On the morning of July 3, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa City Women's Union held a mid-term review conference on the implementation of the Resolution of the 21st City Women's Congress, term 2021-2026.

Implementing the motto "The Central Government sets strategic directions, the province applies flexibly, the district accompanies the grassroots, the commune firmly grasps the members, the branch understands women", after more than 2 years of implementing the Resolution of the Women's Congress at all levels, the Resolution of the Thanh Hoa City Congress, term 2021-2026, the City Women's Union has exceeded 9/9 planned targets, of which 6/9 targets exceeded the entire term, many targets exceeded the plan.

Notably, the city's women's associations at all levels organized 232/180 activities to mobilize women to improve their health, moral qualities, knowledge and skills; supported capacity building and knowledge training on entrepreneurship and business start-up for 153/100 women; mobilized and supported the establishment of 372 new enterprises, of which 259/150 enterprises were owned by women; propagated and mobilized 90% of female traders, businessmen and service providers to practice good communication culture; launched the construction of 213 model roads on environmental sanitation, of which 14 roads were recognized as meeting the criteria of "Model of environmental sanitation"; every year, 100% of grassroots associations completed their tasks well, of which 81% completed their tasks excellently.

The above results are due to the increasingly professional and effective operation of the association. The Executive Committee of the association from the city to the grassroots level always pays attention to improving the quality of leadership, directing the implementation of tasks, innovating the methods of operation; promoting democracy, solidarity, unity, creativity, proactiveness, and flexibility in implementing tasks. Building the style of the association cadres "close to members, understanding members, listening to members, speaking so that members understand, making members believe"; directing activities to the grassroots level, diversifying forms and models of gathering, attracting women, and developing members into the association. Thereby, the role of the association is increasingly promoted, the material and spiritual life of cadres, members, and women is increasingly improved.

The implementation of emulation movements: "Building Thanh Hoa women of the new era, patriotic, benevolent, self-reliant, self-reliant, aspiring to rise up" and "Women fostering good values ​​of Vietnamese families", the campaigns "Building families of 5 no, 3 clean" and "Women of the city speak good words, join hands to protect the environment", the breakthroughs: "Promoting the application of information technology in directing and organizing association activities" have really come into life, contributing to building the image of Thanh Hoa women speaking good words, doing good deeds.

The core tasks of the association were effectively implemented. Especially supporting the enhancement of women's economic power. The association at all levels helped 295 households escape poverty and near-poverty; including 178 poor households and 117 near-poor households; social security activities were promoted, such as: The program "Godmother - connecting love", building and repairing shelters for members and poor women, "Turning trash into money"... mobilized and donated resources to help many members, women in difficult circumstances, and orphans have the motivation to rise up in life. Activities to honor families with meritorious services to the revolution were carried out promptly, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism.

At the conference, delegates discussed and analyzed the shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome, and at the same time proposed key solutions to implement the tasks in the second half of the term: In particular, maintaining and improving the quality of the targets that have been completed beyond the entire term, continuing to organize the implementation of 3/9 remaining targets that are higher than the set plan. Effectively implementing 2 emulation movements, 2 campaigns and 2 breakthroughs for the 2021-2026 term, key tasks of the association, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 21st City Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

Individuals and groups were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Women's Union and Certificates of Merit by the Thanh Hoa City Women's Union.

On this occasion, 1 individual of Thanh Hoa City Women's Union was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for outstanding achievements in union work in 2023; 2 individuals were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Women's Union and many collectives and individuals were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Thanh Hoa City Women's Union for outstanding achievements in implementing the Resolution for the first half of the 2021-2026 term.
