Support to eliminate 1,100 temporary and dilapidated houses in Lai Chau

Currently, Lai Chau province has 6,833 households in need of removing temporary and dilapidated houses; classified by subjects: poor households are 5,530 households; near-poor households are 1,234 households; meritorious people are 69 households. As of April 11, 3,787/6,833 households have been and are building houses, of which: 3,119 households are newly built, 668 households are repaired; 1,207 households have been completed (843 households are newly built; 364 households are repaired).

The total cost of eliminating 6,833 temporary houses is nearly 380 billion VND. To date, Lai Chau province has mobilized and mobilized more than 283 billion VND. By the end of April 11, there were still 1,577 poor and near-poor households in Lai Chau that had not been allocated funding to eliminate temporary houses.

The Ministry of Public Security's support of Lai Chau with funding to eliminate 1,100 more temporary houses is a great resource for the province to continue implementing the contents of the program, ensuring compliance with the set plan. This support is also a continuation of the support contents of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses that the Ministry of Public Security has implemented in Lai Chau province for many years.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau province supports funding to eliminate temporary housing in Lai Chau

It is expected that by April 24 at the latest, the Ministry of Public Security will hand over the support funds to Lai Chau province; by June 30, the construction and demolition of 1,100 temporary and dilapidated houses will be completed.

Previously, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province also supported Lai Chau province with over 107 billion VND to eliminate 1,788 temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
