Dien Bien held the flag raising ceremony and inaugurated the A Pa Chai flagpole on May 7.

With the desire to organize the flag raising ceremony and inauguration of A Pa Chai Flagpole to ensure solemnity, seriousness, and safety for the people and tourists; at the same time, arouse the love for homeland, country, and national pride of each person... Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee has assigned specific tasks to each agency, unit and Muong Nhe District People's Committee.

The location of the inauguration ceremony of A Pa Chai Flagpole is the waiting area for the border intersection of three countries: Vietnam-Laos-China (commonly known as the zero milestone in the far west).

The flag-raising ceremony will be held at A Pa Chai Flagpole (high point 1432, coordinates: 8088206986, in Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province).

A Pa Chai Flagpole is a project invested by Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard; built from socialized sources.

According to the design, the national flagpole is about 45.19m high, of which the reinforced concrete pillar is 29.5m high; the stainless steel flagpole is 15.69m high; the flag size is 7.5mx5m with an area of ^​​37.5m2 .

The base and body of the flagpole are designed in an octagonal shape, the outside of the flagpole is covered with stone, the foot is highlighted with reliefs depicting typical images of Northwest culture and ethnic motifs.
