According to BGR , if the latest leaks about the Galaxy S24 are accurate, Samsung seems to be focusing on a cuboid design for the upcoming series, and this is very much in line with the current iPhone design style. In fact, according to design leaks shared by @OnLeaks and Smartpix, the Galaxy S24 could become the product that "copycats" the iPhone design the most in years.
Partial renders of the front and back of the Galaxy S24
It’s no secret that smartphones are becoming more and more similar, with both Samsung and Apple borrowing design cues from each other (and other manufacturers) over the past two decades. Even the Galaxy S23 has a rounded design compared to the more square Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Despite having a metal frame design similar to the iPhone, it is unlikely that the Galaxy S24 will have many design similarities with the iPhone, including the fact that its screen does not have the Dynamic Island design found on modern iPhone models.
According to the leaked design shared by Smartpix and @OnLeaks, the Galaxy S24 will be slightly taller and wider than its predecessor, measuring around 147 x 70.5 x 7.6 mm.
The Galaxy S24 will have the same triple camera setup as its predecessor, as well as an LED flash on the back. But the renders suggest it will likely feature a matte back for a better in-hand feel. One of the biggest design changes, however, is that the Galaxy S24 could feature an ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna on the side.
The renders seem to suggest that the bezels above the phone's display could also be reduced, which would give users a little more screen real estate. While the Galaxy S24 may look more like an iPhone than ever, it's sure to appeal to Galaxy fans.
