Revealing car models that promise to attract attention at the Vietnam Motor Show 2024

On the morning of October 23, the Vietnam Motor Show organized a preview tour for press agencies in Vietnam and internationally. The highlight of this year's exhibition is a series of electric vehicles and green technology, affirming the commitment to a sustainable future for the automobile and motorbike industry.

With the theme "Technology opens a green future", Vietnam Motor Show 2024 demonstrates the commitment of brands in providing green and sustainable mobility solutions and emphasizes the importance of applying technology to protect the environment.

Speaking at the introduction to domestic news agencies and press, Mr. Nakano Keita, Chairman of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), emphasized: "Vietnam Motor Show 2024 is not only a place to gather famous automobile and motorbike brands, but also a testament to the transformation of this industry in Vietnam. With a strong commitment to sustainable development, this year's event emphasizes green energy solutions, emission reduction and leading safety technology. We believe that, with the support from the Government and the efforts of businesses, Vietnam will make important strides in the journey to realize the Net Zero goal by 2050".

In addition, Ms. Le Thanh Hai - representative of the Vietnam Automobile Importers Association (VIVA) - also expressed optimism about the prospects of the imported car market in Vietnam: " The growth of the imported car market in Vietnam reflects a clear trend: Consumers are looking for car models that not only ensure performance but are also environmentally friendly. We not only bring advanced products from the international market but also meet the increasing demand. Consumers will have the opportunity to admire outstanding car models with leading advanced technology and choose the most suitable car for themselves".

Also at the introduction session on the morning of October 23, Mr. Okutani Masahiro - representative of the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM) - shared about the role of motorcycle manufacturers at this year's exhibition: " The motorcycle industry in Vietnam is facing a major transition period, when the trend of greening and energy saving is increasingly welcomed by consumers. Vietnam Motor Show 2024 is an opportunity for VAMM to introduce electric motorcycle technologies and advanced product lines, contributing to building a sustainable transportation system, meeting modern needs and at the same time protecting the environment ".

Vietnam Motor Show 2024 witnessed the launch of new car models, especially those appearing for the first time in the Vietnamese market. Typically, Honda Vietnam brought the Civic e:HEV RS sports sedan with a powerful, environmentally friendly Hybrid engine, 2 reliable and convenient electric motorbikes for the first time, ICON e: and CUV e.

Meanwhile, Toyota Vietnam with the FT-3e pure electric concept car and a range of Hybrid products, notably the all-new 2024 Toyota Camry.

In 2024, Vietnam Motor Show will have a large scale and total space area, with the exhibition area alone reaching nearly 25,000m2. In particular, this exhibition will promote unique performance and experience activities such as feature experience activities, demonstrations, and test drives to experience technology from brands.

In addition, a seminar with the theme "Reducing emissions from vehicles and converting to green energy towards environmental protection will also be held.
