Like in "Science Day", students participate in many science discovery games, make models, STEM experiments... Or in another topic, students meet with a psychologist to get advice on how to identify their dreams and plan a path to conquer their dreams while still in school.

At Scotch AGS, one of the many activities to kick off the new school year was the Australian Mathematics Olympiad (AMC) held on August 10 for students inside and outside the school to participate.

The school representative said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school will promote connection activities with international universities to help its students have the opportunity to learn and prepare early for study abroad programs.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thong - Principal of Tri Duc Secondary and High School - said that the school has organized many training sessions for teachers before officially entering the new school year, which will teach the 2018 general education program at all levels.

The school has invited professors and doctors from major universities who participated in the development of the 2018 general education program to provide more detailed guidance to teachers.

When do public school students in Ho Chi Minh City go back to school?

For public schools in Ho Chi Minh City, at the primary level, the earliest school day for first graders will start on August 19. Grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 will start on August 26 and start on September 5, ending the school year before May 31, 2025.
