According to Yonhap news agency, the South Korean Foreign Ministry said that senior diplomats from the country and the US held a phone call on August 3 to discuss measures to strengthen cooperation on important minerals and economic security.
The two sides agreed to cooperate closely to achieve success in the fields of technology and economic security through high-level exchanges, including the upcoming trilateral summit between the Republic of Korea, the United States and Japan; and to ensure the stability of supply chains of key minerals under the Mineral Security Partnership (MSP).
