Ngo Quyen District Party Committee (Hai Phong) continues to promote the achieved results, overcome limitations; focus on the work of arranging ward administrative units; organizational structure, streamlining the apparatus to well implement the 2025 goals.
On the afternoon of December 9, Ngo Quyen District Party Committee held a conference to review the work tasks in 2024; set out directions, tasks and solutions for 2025.
According to the report at the conference, in 2024, Ngo Quyen District Party Committee will proactively innovate leadership methods, comprehensively direct the implementation of all aspects of Party building, political system, people mobilization, promote economic development, and ensure national defense and security.
The district completed 7 key tasks; 17/18 main targets, of which 8 targets were completed beyond the plan. During the year, the district performed well some difficult tasks that arose, specifically the relocation of people from old apartment buildings A7 and A8 due to the impact of storm No. 3. Site clearance for projects, especially key projects, was focused on and implemented vigorously with a site clearance area of more than 46 hectares, 2.6 times higher than in 2023. The district's urban area received attention for investment in modernisation. The fields of culture, society, education, and health were implemented synchronously; resources were well mobilized to ensure social security.
Strengthening land management, urban areas and site clearance
In 2025, Ngo Quyen district determined to continue implementing the annual theme "Strengthening land and urban management and site clearance"; 6 key tasks and 18 main targets.
In particular, the district focused on leading the completion of the targets of the 23rd District Party Congress Resolution, directing the successful organization of the Party Cell Congress and the grassroots Party Committee; completing the arrangement and merger of ward administrative units, innovating, arranging, and streamlining the organizational apparatus; actively transforming the digital system. The district continued to create conditions for businesses to develop, shift the economy, increase budget revenue; ensure social security, national defense and security. At the same time, doing a good job of managing planning, land, and site clearance for projects; speeding up the progress of works and projects starting construction to celebrate major holidays of the year.
Streamline the organization for efficient operation
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Dao Khanh Ha - Head of the Propaganda Department of Hai Phong City Party Committee acknowledged the efforts and high determination of Ngo Quyen District Party Committee in leading the implementation of targets and tasks of the 2024 plan; at the same time, pointed out some objective difficulties and limitations of the locality in performing the tasks.
