Hanoi temporarily suspends Party Congresses of districts, towns and cities

Kinhtedothi - On March 5, the Hanoi Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 1458-CV/TU on implementing Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW of the Politburo and Secretariat.

Pursuant to Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat "on implementing research and proposing to continue to reorganize the apparatus of the political system", the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee requested that Party committees at all levels under the City Party Committee implement a number of contents:

Proactively disseminate and widely disseminate the policy of streamlining the organizational apparatus; do a good job of political and ideological work, create high consensus and unity in society, especially among cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees according to Plan No. 303-KH/TU dated March 5, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.

Focus on leading and directing the continued implementation of local tasks; ensure the growth target of the city, not to affect the operations of agencies, organizations and units in the entire political system from the city to the grassroots; ensure discipline and order in the management and operation of authorities at all levels. Assign the Party Committee of the City People's Committee to lead the City People's Committee and relevant agencies to direct and provide specific guidance on this content.

Temporarily suspend the organization of Party Congresses of districts, towns, and grassroots Party organizations under the Party Committees of districts, towns, and cities; other Party organizations shall implement the Congresses in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 35-CT/TW, Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW of the Politburo, and Plan No. 258-KH/TU of the City Party Committee. After the 11th Conference of the Party Central Committee, based on the direction of the Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will provide specific instructions and guidance.

Temporarily suspend recruitment of civil servants and public employees and admission of civil servants and public employees outside the city. Temporarily suspend the addition of Party committees, standing committees, appointments, and nominations for higher positions in districts, towns, communes, wards, and townships. This content does not apply to public service units in the fields of health, education, and affiliated enterprises.
