The Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024 is scheduled to be held for 5 days in July at the Tay Ho District Cultural and Creative Space. The first event will include many activities to promote, introduce and honor lotus cultivation and lotus products.
The three units coordinating to organize the Lotus Festival 2024 are the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the People's Committee of Tay Ho District and the City Union of Friendship Organizations.

The first event to open the 2024 Lotus Festival is the OCOP - Hanoi Lotus Fair and a photo exhibition with the theme "Lotus in Vietnamese cultural life".
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee will honor artisans, skilled workers, preservers and developers of lotus growing associated with developing experiential agricultural tourism and promoting local products; award units with typical lotus products.
Within the framework of the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024, the ceremony to receive the National Intangible Cultural Heritage - the craft of West Lake lotus tea perfuming will also be held. Along with that, there will be many other activities on the sidelines of the festival such as a street parade with the theme "Sac Sen", organizing music nights, poetry and a photo contest with lotus flowers...
According to the leader of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024 will be an opportunity to exploit and promote the potential of local products, preserve and promote traditional cultural values from lotus.
In addition to promoting domestic consumption, through the upcoming Lotus Festival, the Organizing Committee hopes that Tay Ho Lotus products will be widely promoted and introduced, becoming gifts chosen by international tourists and ambassadors of other countries.
