In the 2023 high school graduation exam, according to the exam score data announced by the Ministry of Education and Training at 8:00 a.m. on July 18, the total number of exam papers scoring 10 points this year was 16,427, three times more than last year.
By province and city, Hanoi has the most with 1,232 points of 10, concentrated in Civic Education 1,025 and Foreign Language 106. Compared to last year, Hanoi's absolute score has more than doubled. This is also the locality with the most high school graduation candidates in the country - about 102,000.
Ho Chi Minh City ranked second with 1,019 scores of 10, an increase of nearly 5 times, of which Civic Education had 880 and Foreign Language had 78. Like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City had an advantage in the number of candidates taking the high school graduation exam with 85,000 students.
Thanh Hoa and Nam Dinh are the next two localities, with 935 and 751 points of 10, respectively. Thanh Hoa dropped three places, while Nam Dinh remained at fourth place, but both localities doubled the number of points of 10 compared to last year.
Ha Giang has the fewest 10 points, only 47, followed by Ninh Thuan with 56. Other provinces and cities with less than 100 10 points include Dak Nong, Kon Tum, Lai Chau, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Quang Tri, Bac Kan, and Cao Bang.
