According to Digitaltrends , the image of the Pixel 8 Pro was discovered by journalist Mishaal Rahman and posted on the official Google Store registration page. If you look closely, users can also see a smartwatch in the image, which many believe is the Pixel Watch 2. The image was quickly removed from the website but was collected and widely shared online by some people.
Alleged images of Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2 appear on Google's website
The image shows the Pixel 8 Pro in ceramic white with a glossy glass back and a metallic camera strip on top. The appearance matches previous leaked renders, which showed the Pixel 8 Pro in black.
The standout design element on this one seems to be the circular lens cutout instead of the pill-shaped hole-punch combo that the Pixel 7 Pro offers. The rest of the components are pretty familiar.
Codenamed Husky in development, the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to debut at Google's October 4 event. The device is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display and will be powered by the same third-generation Tensor G chip based on the same 3nm process as the upcoming A17 Bionic on the iPhone 15 Pro.
Some camera improvements on the Pixel 8 Pro will be applied, such as the ultra-wide sensor being upgraded to 64 MP. There is also a ToF sensor and a thermal sensor appearing below the LED flash module.
Speaking of the leaked Pixel Watch 2, the device seems to have a thinner design than its predecessor, the strap color may be cream, and the rotating crown also looks a bit different. It is not excluded that the color changes due to the impact of the camera angle and external lighting conditions.
The Pixel 8 and Pixel Watch 2 launch events are just over a month away, so it wouldn't be surprising to see more information about them emerge in the coming weeks.
