VinFast displays electric cars and electric motorbike models attracting public attention at the Vietnam Technology Connection and Innovation 2023 event.
Coming to the exhibition of equipment and technology within the framework of the event Connecting Technology and Innovation Vietnam 2023 (Techconnect and Innovation 2023) at the Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province on September 29-30, VinFast displayed 5 electric motorbike models: Evo 200, Feliz S, Klara S, Vento S, Theon S and electric car VF9.
According to the corporation, the car models represent a message about the future of mobility, expecting a safer, greener and more efficient future.

The exhibition opened at 8am on September 29, and VinFast's booth attracted a large number of visitors. Among them, the VF 9 model received special attention. "Beautiful, luxurious, spacious, worth owning", commented Mr. Le Van Dung, a visitor from Hanoi.
VinFast positions VF 9 in the E-size SUV segment but with a price of 1.443-1.571 billion. The most expensive version of VF 9 is about 428 million VND cheaper than the cheapest car in the current segment, Explorer. If including the voucher incentive worth 250 million VND, the price of VF 9 is even lower, cheaper than LuxSA 2.0.
Visitors will also be able to register to test drive Vinfast electric cars VF5, VF34, VF8 and VF9. People can also order electric motorbikes and electric cars at Vinfast's consulting counter located at the exhibition.
Earlier this morning, VinES representatives also shared Vingroup's experience in developing clean energy at the 2023 Technology and Energy Forum. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thu - Head of Strategy and Cooperation - VinES, green and clean energy is currently a top priority for many countries. In Vietnam, this is an important strategy in reducing emissions, aiming to bring net emissions to 0. Vingroup's member was established in August 2021 with the goal of contributing to the national greening process. "After only two years, we are a pioneer in Southeast Asia in developing batteries and energy storage solutions at many scales from families, businesses to power plants," said Mr. Thu.
As evidence for this assertion, VinES representatives cited a series of milestones demonstrating the ability to master technology, production and product application. Notably, just 4 months after its establishment, VinES provided a self-developed battery pack system for VFe34 - VinFast's first electric vehicle model. In April 2022, the enterprise completed the pilot production line of cylindrical batteries. One month later, the self-developed battery pack was supplied to two car models VF8 and VF9. The Vietnam Technology and Innovation Connection Event has the theme "Innovation - Sustainable Development", the program is designed with 7 activities including forums, conferences to exchange information on the topic of technology and innovation connection, product demonstration and technology focus, connection to promote investment and research cooperation.
The event was directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Quang Ninh People's Committee, and organized by the Department of Technology Application and Development, Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ninh province.

Held since 2011, Vietnam Technology and Innovation Connection aims to build a national innovation system to convert and apply knowledge and technology into practice; create a direct bridge for technology supply and demand sides to exchange, discuss and sign cooperation agreements and technology transfer contracts. The event has become a forum for businesses and experts to discuss and share information with policy makers, promote technology application, transfer and product commercialization.
