DNVN - Gasoline prices all decreased, except for E5 RON 92 gasoline which increased by 51 VND/liter, during the management period on February 6, pulling the price of RON 95 III gasoline down below 21,000 VND/liter.
During the operating period on February 6, the operating agency did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 51 VND/liter to 20,442 VND/liter, RON 95 III gasoline decreased by 74 VND/liter to 20,928 VND/liter.
The price of RON 95 III gasoline will be adjusted down to below VND 21,000/liter from 3:00 p.m. on February 6, 2025.
Diesel, kerosene and fuel oil were adjusted down by VND192, VND25 and VND148 to new prices of VND19,054/liter, VND19,414/liter and VND17,354/kg, respectively.
The decision to adjust gasoline prices this time was made in the context that the world gasoline market from February 1-5, 2025 was affected by factors such as: increased US crude oil reserves, the US temporarily suspending the application of new tariffs on goods from Mexico, concerns about a new trade war between the US and China, the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine... These factors have caused world gasoline prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on each product, but the general trend is downward.
