Chairman of the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA), Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai, said that over 90% of the coffee growing area nationwide has completed harvesting. At the beginning of the season, experts predicted that output could decrease by 10-15% compared to the previous crop, but so far the actual decrease is only about 5%.

Although some areas are still harvesting late-ripening coffee, the harvest has generally come to an end. Thanks to high prices, this crop has brought significant profits to growers.

The Central Highlands is currently in the dry season with higher than average temperatures and reduced rainfall, which could affect the quality of coffee beans, impacting yields and further pushing prices up.

According to experts, farmers need to focus on improving the quality of coffee beans, aiming to meet international standards. At the same time, closely monitoring market fluctuations will help optimize sales decisions, avoiding unnecessary losses.
