Domestic gold prices maintained a record level while world gold prices turned down from the peak of 2,758 USD/ounce set yesterday.

Specifically, Doji Gold and Gemstone Group early this morning lowered the price of 9999 gold rings to 87.95-88.95 million VND/tael, down 50 thousand VND per tael in both buying and selling compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.

However, this afternoon, Doji raised the price of 9999 gold rings to 88-89 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 50 thousand VND per tael in both directions.

The 89 million VND/tael mark is the highest price ever for plain gold rings in the country. This record price for domestic gold rings was first set yesterday.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company today increased the buying price of Thang Long round gold rings to 87.98 million VND/tael, an increase of 500 thousand VND compared to yesterday's closing price. The selling price of Thang Long round gold rings was kept at 88.98 million VND/tael closed yesterday.

Meanwhile, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) kept the price of gold rings at yesterday's closing price, trading at 87.6-88.9 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Similarly, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) today also maintained yesterday's closing price, the price of 1-5 ring gold was only bought and sold at 87-88.5 million VND/tael.

Today's gold ring price is the peak price of domestic gold rings. Compared to mid-October, each tael of plain gold rings has increased by more than 5 million VND.

Compared to the beginning of the year, the domestic price of gold rings has increased by more than 25 million VND/tael.

SJC gold bar price today remains stable at 87-89 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Notably, the selling price of gold rings at some brands is equal to the price of gold bars. The buying price of gold rings at businesses is 600,000 VND to 1 million VND per tael higher than the buying price of SJC gold bars.
