According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 2,756.66 USD/ounce. Today's gold price decreased by 0.23% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,492 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 84.7 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is about 4.0 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices fell on Wednesday as the dollar and bond yields rose after the U.S. Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged, as expected, while providing little clarity on the timing of future rate cuts.
Spot gold fell 0.4% to $2,753.86 an ounce at 02:56 p.m. ET (1956 GMT), while U.S. gold futures rose 0.1% to $2,779.80, widening their premium to spot gold.
The dollar rose 0.3%, making gold more expensive for holders of other currencies, while yields on 10-year U.S. Treasury notes rose, making non-yielding bullion less attractive.
"The asset market is softening after the more hawkish than expected statement, with gold prices falling slightly," Tai Wong, an independent metals trader, told Reuters.
The Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged and offered few details about when it might continue to cut borrowing costs in an economy where inflation remains above target, growth continues and unemployment remains low.
The widely expected decision to leave policy rates unchanged follows three consecutive rate cuts through 2024, which would cut the Fed's benchmark interest rate by a full percentage point.
“There will probably be some degree of Fed independence from President Trump’s call for a rate cut,” said Peter Grant, vice president and senior metals strategist at Zaner Metals. “ But I think the policy path remains largely unchanged. So in that sense, the rate cuts are likely to be on hold until mid-year.”
After the statement was released, short-term interest rate futures showed investors expected the central bank to postpone further rate cuts until June.
Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said it was too early to say what impact President Donald Trump's policies would have and the central bank would take time to assess the implications of the administration's new policy regime.
Gold prices hit a near all-time high last week after Trump called for lower interest rates. Bullion tends to thrive in low-interest-rate environments because it does not pay interest.
Elsewhere, spot silver rose 1.2% to $30.76 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.5% to $946.35. Palladium rose 0.8% to $962.75.
