At the end of the trading session, in the domestic and world markets, silver prices recorded a downward reversal after a strong increase in the previous session. World silver prices decreased by 0.33%, stopping at 31.52 USD/ounce compared to yesterday's trading session.

Metals markets saw a broad rally as the US prepared to impose new import tariffs. Both industrial and precious metals posted significant gains, reflecting market concerns about global trade uncertainties and potential supply disruptions. Silver closed up 3.5% at $32.49 an ounce.

In addition, data from the US Commerce Department showed that the Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index (PCE) rose 0.3% last month, the largest increase since April 2024, amid a surge in consumer spending, suggesting that the US Federal Reserve (FED) may not be in a hurry to continue cutting interest rates.
