A practical learning opportunity has come to secondary and high school students in Gia Lai province. It is a completely free online course on digital skills and Internet safety developed by the Department of Information Security in collaboration with a number of units, aimed at students nationwide.

Students can study at home, take advantage of the school computer room, or use their parents' smartphones, as long as they have an internet connection to access the Onetouch website ( onetouch.mic.gov.vn or onetouch.edu.vn ).

The course has 5 main topics, from getting acquainted with the digital world, knowing how to interact healthily, maintaining health online, to recognizing scams. The lessons are designed vividly, easy to understand, including real-life situations for students to easily visualize and apply.

This course is a valuable learning resource, further supporting the efforts to improve understanding of information technology and gradually reduce information poverty that Gia Lai province is implementing.

It is clear to see the important role of teachers, parents and local organizations in introducing and encouraging students to participate.

When every child in Gia Lai knows how to use the internet safely and how to search for useful information, that is the most meaningful way to nurture a more stable future generation in the digital age.
